The Mühlbauer Group, leading technology partner for the Smart Card, ePassport and RFID industries, will present a brand-new personalization system for ID card applications, called SCP 800/ID.
Along with the SCP 800/EMV, which will also be shown at the booth no. 4G052, the SCP 800/ID is the second application variant of this mid-volume card personalization solution that Mühlbauer has in its portfolio now. Cost-efficient design, latest technology, highest operator and maintenance friendliness as well as perfect quality are the key attributes of the SCP 800 series. Of course, the personalization platform Mühlbauer MCES is also integrable. The combination with a production and personalization management system such as Mühlbauer INCAPE is also possible.
The version, presented at Cartes in Paris, contains modules for combined contact/contactless chip encoding, dye sublimation printing (D2T2) and front-/backside laser engraving. Thus, the SCP 800/ID is suitable for the personalization of ID cards with different materials such as PC or PVC. With a throughput of up to 800 UPH, SCP 800/EMV ideally meets the requirements of mid range personalization or is also suitable as backup system for high volume personalization centers.
The SCP 800/ID will be presented at booth no. 4G052 at Cartes in Paris for the first time. In addition, the SCP 800/EMV and the mobile data enrollment suitcase getID MOBILE for biometric data enrollment can be seen. Mühlbauer EMV and RFID experts will be on-site to inform about the Mühlbauer turnkey solutions for EMV cards as well as RFID inlay and label production, application development and the unique Mühlbauer know-how transfer.
