PakSense, Inc. was announced as a 2015 New Product Award Finalist by United Fresh in the category of Best New Food Safety Solution for AutoSense Facility, powered by Controlant. The new solution will be launched at the upcoming United Fresh 2015, June 8-10 in Chicago. AutoSense Facility powered by Controlant is the next installment of a Continuous Monitoring solution that easily integrates with Inbound, Outbound and Real-Time monitoring of the entire supply chain.
“AutoSense Facility enables the monitoring of perishable goods at any stationary monitoring point and will help reduce shrink and ensure that only fresh and safe foods reach consumers,” said David Oster, CEO at PakSense. “The system will also help users cost-effectively comply with any temperature monitoring rules enacted as a result of FSMA with little to no disruption to their day-to-day operations.”
AutoSense monitors temperature and humidity in stationary areas such as storage and processing facilities, walk-in coolers and freezers, and retail cold cases. Easily installed, this system collects and stores data in a centralized cloud database where alerts and compliance reports can be automatically generated. The system is completely wireless and uses gateways that connect to the cloud using cellular connectivity.
