Kateeva announced that Harold Hughes has joined its Board of Directors. A veteran of the global semiconductor industry, Hughes previously brought financial, strategic and operational leadership to Intel, as CFO, and Rambus, as CEO.
In addition to providing counsel as a Board member, Hughes will oversee Kateeva’s financial reporting and risk management initiatives as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
“Harold is an outstanding addition to our Board,” said Alain Harrusm, Kateeva chairman and CEO. “He has scaled operations at fast-growing companies with complex products and high-value IP, and instituted solid financial disciplines along the way.”
For 30 years, Hughes has helped turn pioneering technology companies into global brands. He served as a director of Rambus Inc., a chip interface company, from 2003 to 2012, and as its CEO and president from 2005 to 2012. His private sector career began at Intel, where he was treasurer, VP of Intel Capital, CFO and VP of planning and logistics. After that, he became the chairman and CEO of Pandesic, LLC. Hughes began his career as a US Army officer.
