ON Semiconductor will demonstrate its intelligent image sensing solutions at this year’s Vision China Exhibition, March 20-22 in Shanghai. Exhibits will include the company’s X-Class image sensor platform, the KAI-50140 interline transfer CCD image sensor, AR0522 CMOS image sensors with Near Infra-Red+ (NIR+) technology, and the AR0234 CMOS digital image sensor.
With the needs of industrial imaging applications such as machine vision inspection and industrial automation continuing to advance, ON Semiconductor has been innovating in both the design and performance of image sensors to address this growing market.
ON Semiconductor’s X-Class image sensor platform allows a single camera design to support not only multiple product resolutions but also different pixel functionality. The XGS image sensors being showcased are the first devices in this platform and provide advanced global shutter imaging with resolutions up to 12 megapixels (4096 x 3072 pixel).
Designed specifically for inspection of modern smartphone displays, the KAI-50140 image sensor is a 50 MP Interline Transfer CCD in the 2.18:1 aspect ratio, matching the format of modern smartphones.
