ARMOR solar power films, after being nominated in July, is among the nine finalists in the "Climate" category of the German Sustainability Award.
The 13th German Sustainability Award will be presented in Düsseldorf on Dec. 4, 2020.
The prize honors actors from the businesses that make effective contributions to the important fields of climate, resources, biodiversity and society.
Twenty-three companies within five categories are moving into the final round.

“Finalists are pioneers," added Stephan Schulze-Hausmann, initiator of the award. "They show how crises can be prevented and how our common future can be shaped."
Other finalists in this climate transformation field include the non-profit search engine Ecosia, the maker of Thin-film solar modules First Solar, the GLS community bank, the eco-energy supplier NATURSTROM, the manufacturer, marketer and refiner of biochar NovoCarbo, the offshore Wind farm operator Ørsted Wind Power Germany, the technology and service company Robert Bosch and the manufacturer of pumps and pump systems Wilo.
