CDO Technologies, Inc. was awarded a $6.6M contract for program and project management, systems and hardware support, operations, and maintenance for all Air Force Global Enterprise Tracking (AFGET) systems, infrastructure, and customers at the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) locations of Robins AFB, GA, Tinker AFB, OK, Hill AFB, UT, and Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.
CDO will provide support to the AFGET existing systems by integrating and sustaining system operations, help desk, and training services. CDO will support any potential base mission changes by expanding technology usage and enhancing hardware and software systems.
One of the main benefits that CDO is providing for this government client is Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) which includes infrastructure, applications, sensors, and tracking tags.
A Zebra Technologies’ Premier Solutions Partner, CDO will utilize Zebra's RFID hardware and software to support AFGET customers with tracking their critical assets with RTLS. Using RTLS, they will be able to recommend corrective actions for resolving errors and variances between systems.
“We are honored to work with the Air Force and excited to provide our innovative RFID solutions to help modernize AFGET operations,” said Xavier Villarreal, VP of North American healthcare and government sales, Zebra Technologies. “We look forward to building on our relationship with the Air Force and CDO and leveraging the industry’s broadest, field-proven RFID portfolio to provide a high-performance system that provides unmatched accuracy for tracking critical assets.”
“We are looking forward to having a close partnership with our AFGET customer and helping them achieve mission success,” added Don Ertel, SVP of operations at CDO Technologies.
