TOPPAN Inc., a TOPPAN Group company, will join embedded world 2024, which will be held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany, from April 9-11. TOPPAN joined embedded world for the third consecutive year in 2023 after debuting in 2021, when the event was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The TOPPAN booth will showcase the TOPPAN ORTUSTECH lineup of Blanview-TFT displays, which bring together high outdoor visibility and low power consumption.
These include the Blanview-R: 2-inch model ideal for compact mobile devices; the Blanview-G: 5-inch model that has excellent vibration resistance and can function in a wide temperature range, making it suitable for outdoor mobility applications such as heavy machinery and equipment used in construction and agriculture; and the Blanview-F: 12.1-inch model with touch interface that makes it ideal for control panels for electric vehicle charging stations and other outdoor installations.
TOPPAN will also showcase a next-generation Blanview TFT display under development that drives the further evolution of Blanview performance.
TOPPAN will also present an LCD unit featuring optically bonded cover glass that takes advantage of Blanview’s outdoor visibility. The company will also introduce a new embedded solution consisting of a TFT-LCD and command control circuit board that requires only command input to enable display images, without sequential input of display image data. A “decorative display,” which delivers clear visuals on a decorative surface, will also be presented.
In addition to TFT displays, TOPPAN will also present products and services that apply technologies cultivated in its electronics business, including a multi-sensor module equipped with dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) for energy harvesting.
