Confidex continues to expand its product portfolio by launching four innovative tag solutions to the market. The unrivalled and patent-pending Confidex Silverline all-surface special label is now upgraded and also provided in two new compact sizes – Silverline Slim and Micro – enabling many novel applications to benefit from the use of RFID tags. The newcomer to Confidex hard tag portfolio is Confidex Carrier Tough II, a new passive UHF RFID tag especially designed for tracking and tracing all types of returnable transit items.
By combining the on-metal performance of hard tags and personalization easiness of labels, the Confidex Silverline family makes the usage of RFID easier and more efficient than ever. Silverline Slim and Micro are ideal for applications in which the suitable label size is particularly limited, for example applications involving different kinds of industrial or enterprise assets, pipes, cables, electrical devices or tools.
Both labels can also be attached on curved surfaces, like liquid bottles and metallic cylinders without affecting their performance. In actual use, Silverline labels have already proven themselves to provide constant, reliable readings when attached on metal and used in highly demanding conditions.
Confidex Silverline labels provide the best compatibility with the latest printing equipment in the industry.
”Confidex Silverline is the first all-surface label family designed specifically to be compatible with Zebra RFID printers. The unique design of Silverline family provides industry-leading on-metal sensitivity, along with highly accurate encoding and print quality on ZT400, R110Xi4 and RZ series RFID printers. In particular, the new Silverline Slim and Micro labels offer new solutions for space constrained applications,” said Michael Fein Sr. product manager, Zebra Technologies.
Confidex Carrier Tough II is a continuation of Confidex’s long-standing development of high-quality industrial tags. The tag’s ultra-thin design does not compromise its robustness and provides an easy-to-use and effective solution for tagging various kinds of returnable transit items or industrial assets.
“The new Confidex Carrier Tough II combines high mechanical quality with solid and consistent RF performance, along with features requested by our customers,” said Jari Ovaskainen, marketing director of tags and labels at Confidex. “Carrier Tough II not only expands the Confidex portfolio of all-surface tags but also continues our tradition of providing value-added, customer-based tag design and configuration for versatile asset tracking applications.”
